How durable are they?

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How are they vs. other brands?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.

Are they worth it?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also look great.

How comfy are they?

They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just adjust easily.

Do they hold up well?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong.

Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
